Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Lynk you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service
Lynk provides software for evaluating job candidates via simulations, scoring, and messaging. We may modify or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Your account
You must be 18+ and legally able to enter contracts. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping credentials secure. You may not share accounts.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, or fraudulent use.
- No invitations to people who haven't consented to evaluation.
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass usage limits.
- No use of the service to train competing automated hiring models.
- You comply with all applicable employment, equal-opportunity, and privacy laws.
5. Free tier and usage limits
Free accounts include 1 credit. We may rate-limit, throttle, or suspend accounts that exceed published limits or that incur disproportionate infrastructure costs. We will contact you before suspending a paid account for usage reasons.
6. Content & ownership
You retain ownership of content you upload (briefs, observations, messages). You grant Lynk a non-exclusive license to host and process it solely to provide the service. Candidate responses are processed on the founder's behalf and shared only with the inviting founder and Lynk admins for scoring.
7. Scoring outputs
Scoring suggestions and authenticity flags may be wrong. They are aids, not hiring decisions. You remain solely responsible for any employment decision you make.
8. Disclaimers
Lynk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lynk and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid Lynk in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lynk harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law (including employment and privacy law).
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or risk to the platform. On termination, your data may be deleted after 30 days unless retention is legally required.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
