1. Overview
Lynk ("we", "us", "our") provides a hiring platform that helps founders evaluate growth operators through simulations and structured conversations. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it. By using Lynk you agree to this policy.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email, company name, password hash, plan.
- Simulation data: role briefs, candidate emails you invite, candidate responses, scores, observations, and follow-up messages.
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, approximate location from IP, device and browser info.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How we use data
- To operate the product (auth, simulations, scoring, messaging).
- To send transactional emails (invitations, results, account notices).
- To improve the product and detect abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or use candidate responses to train third-party AI models. Scoring uses an AI provider (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway) under a data-processing agreement that prohibits training on customer content.
4. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) infrastructure subprocessors strictly needed to run the service (hosting, database, email delivery, AI inference); (b) authorities when legally required. A current list is available on request.
5. Candidates
If a founder invites you to a Lynk simulation, the founder is the controller of your data; Lynk is a processor. Your simulation response is shared with that founder only. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR / CCPA, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data. Email privacy@lynkhiring.com — we respond within 30 days.
7. Retention
We keep account and simulation data for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after deletion for backups. Anonymous usage logs may be kept longer for analytics.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-restricted. Despite reasonable safeguards, no system is perfectly secure; you use Lynk at your own risk.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
